Congrats, Ariana Grande Is Engaged (Again)

Alright, guys, gals and non-binary pals, let’s get in Positions because Ariana Grande is now officially engaged—again.

During the last nine months of COVID-19 self-isolation, the 27-year-old singer-actress-Chromatica resident has been seeing Los Angeles-based real estate agent Dalton Gomez. While the pair first officially went Insta-official with their relationship at Grande’s Midsommar-inspired birthday in June (oh, to be at that event), they have been romantically linked and rumoured ever since the appeared slow dancing together in Ari’s apartment in the music video to her and Justin Bieber’s “Stuck With U.”

And now, they’re reportedly E-N-G-A-G-E-D. See, on Monday morning, the 21st of December, Ariana Grande shared a series of photos on Instagram featuring her and Gomez cozying up on the floor. In the same post, she bundled some selfies of her in the mirror with a new shiny piece of jewelry—an oval shaped diamond and mesmerising pearl—that many believe is an engagement ring. Paired with the post’s caption, “forever n then some,” it really has us thinking, “aww shit, here we go again.”

Ariana Grande has kept her iso-relationship to Dalton Gomez pretty quiet online. But, her new album Positions seems to reference her current relationship and how it’s energising her with happiness and love. And, honestly, we love that for her. As if today’s Grande news wasn’t enough, Netflix is dropping a not-so-piccolo documentary about our queen later today called, “excuse me, I love you.”

Previously, Grande was engaged to Saturday Night Live! star Pete Davidson, before the pair split in 2018. Her engagement to Dalton Gomez joins other big celebrity news during COVID-19, including Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas’s baby, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malek’s spicy child (legit, they named it after a spice), and Grimes and Elon Musk’s intergalactic child.

Congrats Ari!
