Cardi B & Nicki Minaj Are Burying The Hatchet To Bring Us Some Sick Beats

Cardi B may have only just graced us with her and Megan Thee Stallion’s Wet Ass Pussy presence two months ago, but she’s already rumoured to be dropping another viral slaptastic tune. And this time, she’s allegedly burying the hatchet and feud between her and Nicki Minaj to bring us The Goods.

That’s right, folks. According to Hot New Hip Hop, Cardi B, who has had a feud with the Barbie Princess of Rap for years is putting all that aside to give us, the people, a new sexy, self-affirming rap anthem, allegedly called “Lavish.”

The rumour comes after Cardi B teased an upcoming collab on the 9th of October on Twitter, in a very suspicious tweet shared in the middle of a feud between her and Barbz.

“Since ya[‘ll] mad… I’m a give ya [sic] something [to be] mad about,” she tweeted. “This next single and coll-… gonna have ya [sic] sick… since ya [sic] here 😉😉😉😉”

Ngl, I don’t understand even half of that but if it means we’re getting new Cardi B music, I ain’t complaining! The last time the infamous feuded duo worked together was back in 2017 on Migos’s track, “MotorSport.”

We’ll know more about this alleged collab that could quite literally break the internet—y’know, because apparently Trump getting COVID-19, UFOs being real and Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman didn’t already?—in the coming days and weeks. In the meantime, we’ll be here, twiddling our thumbs and practising the WAP dance (badly, mind you) while imagining the incredible cameos, set design and looks that could come from a Cardi B x Nicki Minaj music video. Like, oh, idk, Lizzo???

Cardi B’s alleged new track comes after two ~incredible~ collabs with Syrup faves Megan Thee Stallion and BLACKPINK, and after she, as Detox would say, “had it officially!!!” with her husband and rapper Offset, and filed for divorce. Now all we need is for her to work with BTS, Billie Eilish and Doja Cat and she’ll have enough Grammy’s badges under her belt to beat the musical Elite Four: Rihanna, Beyoncé, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga.
