Hello, I Am Losing My Mind Over The New Doja Cat “Say So” Meme

Doja Cat is without a doubt the one true meme queen of RnB and female rappers.

Her single “Moo,” sees her singing about being a cow, dressed in a cow suit with chips in her nostrils and a beef burger and milkshake in each hand, shot entirely in her room.

“Say So,” a song from her latest album Hot Pink (a blend of slow jam RnB vibes, Nicki Minaj beats and Azealia Banks’ chaotic rap energy), is now a viral TikTok dance, with the rapper even featuring the TikTok user who invented it in the recent music video.

And now, people are mashing some of the best memes and moments on the internet with “Say So,” and you need to see it.

Seriously, it is sending me.

It’s hard to say how this meme started, as Doja Cat has skyrocketed in popularity in the last twelve months because of said TikTok associations. She recently performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, toured at the Listen Out festival in Australia late last year and just appeared on Tove Lo’s new single “Equally Lost.”

After a few underappreciated EPs, as well as years of music under her Gucci belt (Doja has been making music since she was 16), we are so proud to see our queen grow into the badass goofy performer famous for cleverly written raps, cheeky memes and groovy RnB beats she’s always hinted at.

Now if only one of her songs was a lip-sync performance on RuPaul’s Drag Race. Aja and Monet X Change, we’re looking at YOU.

All we need to complete this meme is mash it with Bernie Sanders’ “The Time Is Now” speech or Animal Crossing’s wholesome country doggo K.K. Slider. Until then, we’ll listen to these and watch the music video on repeat, waiting for Doja Cat to announce another tour down under.

In a perfect world, he’d be married to Tyler the Creator, own an Arcanine and a Lapras, and don his own Sailor Scouts uniform. He tweets @GayWeebDisaster, which is also, coincidentally, how one might describe him.
