In the latest increasingly absurd developments during the coronavirus lockdown, a segment on Network 10’s The Project has featured a TikTok in which user @sooklyn does a p epic & impassioned rendition of Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s address at a press conference.
The actual press conference moment is just another example among many where ScoMo angrily waffles at a journalist, playing for time to give more incredibly confused instructions about what social distancing measures people should be enacting–it’s very simple really: if you can, stay the fuck at home and see as few people as possible.
The Project’s hosts muse on whether this could be a new challenger to the ever-popular dances that make up a lion’s share of the video sharing app. Honestly, I’m deeply into it. We are disappointed with our sloppy, weak leadership and the political TikTok content that’s been churned out from disgruntled and disillusioned folks is quality.

Whether they’re political lampoons or observational humour that cuts social justice neatly against Charles Barkley’s 2006 chart-topper “Crazy,” enjoy, and then let the algorithm do it’s thing.
